This software will allow you to operate your sound card MIDI synthesizer by means of an average PC keyboard and a mouse. The software emulates 25-keyed MIDI keyboard with the three functional pedals: Sustain, Accent and Soft. These pedals are used to create different effects as polyphony(Sustain), strenthening(Accent) & softening(Soft). There are also 127 different musical instruments from the standard General MIDI(GM) set. All the instruments of the MIDI set are divided into groups, what makes your choice of the needed one quite simple. With this software you can play any sound of GM MIDI standard set, due to the Controller of 8 octaves. It is also possible to play Drums parties, with all sounds of GM Drums set on channel 10. With the switcher MIDI Output Device you can choose any MIDI synthesizer found in the system, such as Microsoft(R) GS Wavetable Synth or any other GM compatible synthesizer. The software user interface was designed for Windows XP(R). It is quite compact and does not take much room on your desktop. All functional keys are situated in the main window of the program, so that you can play any melody without using the main menu.

Modeled after vintage analog phaser circuits, Blue Cat's Phaser reproduces this old vintage phasing effect that you can find on so many recordings, but with the precision of modern digital processing techniques. You can choose to apply up to 32 phasing stages, pushing the model to its limits, or create a subtle phasing effect with wet and feedback parameters set to a few percents. You can also control the phase of the signal in the wet and feedback paths (these parameters can have negative values), which extends the possibilities of the model: the included factory presets will show you how many sounds you can get from this effect. The MIDI control capabilities of this plug-in let you use it with any hardware or software MIDI controller, and the User Interface is totally customizable thanks to Blue Cat's Skinning Language support. > What is Digital Ear Real-Time?
Digital Ear Real-Time can analyze a recorded or live solo performance (e.g. a singing human
voice, or a musical instrument) and convert it to a standard MIDI file. That
file can be send directly to any synthesizer, or can be imported to your
favorite sequencer (e.g. Cubase VST, Cakewalk etc. ) for mixing with other
tracks, or further processing. Digital ear reads standard PCM wave (.wav)
files.

Unlike conventional so-called "Pitch-to-MIDI" converters, Digital Ear will
send high-resolution pitch events closely matching those of your original
sound. Any vibrato, tremolo, pitch-bend, or portamento effects of your
recorded sound will be faithfully converted and reproduced into any voice of
your synthesizer.
